Volvo Ocean Race Backgrounder
The Volvo Ocean Race is jointly owned by Volvo Group and Volvo Cars. The race is sailing’s toughest race to win and the ultimate test of a team in professional sport. Since 1973, the race around the world has been an obsession for some of the greatest ever sailors, and more than four decades on it continues to sit at the intersection of top level sport and human adventure. The 2017-18 edition starts 22 October 2017 from Alicante, Spain and will take the teams 45,000 nautical miles around the world – across four oceans, touching six continents and 12 landmark Host Cities, and finishing at the end of June 2018 in The Hague.
Mona is Australia’s largest private museum, located within the Moorilla winery on the eight-acre Berriedale peninsula in Hobart on the island state of Tasmania, Australia. Alongside temporary exhibitions, the permanent and evolving collection of founder, philanthropist and collector David Walsh displays ancient, modern and contemporary art across 6,000 square metres (64,500 square feet) of gallery space. The museum opened 21 January 2011.

Barossa Wine Chapters Auction
Proudly presented by Barossa Grape and Wine Association, the Barossa Wine Chapters Auction and Lunch on Friday April 21, 2017 is a bespoke wine event in which a collection of iconic Barossa wines from the region’s most celebrated winemakers are auctioned off to raise funds for a local cause.
For Barossa wine enthusiasts there is a live wine auction, held in conjunction with a bountiful lunch featuring delicious Barossa fare, hosted by Barossa Vignerons. To complement the live auction there is an additional online auction in the lead up to the day.
